ChairsFinishing A quality finish cannot be rushed. We start with water-based stains and use clear catalyzed lacquer finishes so you can see the beauty of the wood, not oil based stains and finishes that are often used to mask inferior stock. We apply six coats of lacquer that are hand rubbed and scuffed between each coat. McMurray puts five and a half hours of labor into each chair during our finishing process to ensure a long lasting, deep finish. |
